Our company is made up of visionary people who see the possibility in every piece of information, and in every conversation. But we go beyond just seeing possibility - we dare to make it reality.
We’re a clever, dynamic, and inventive batch of individuals who have authored books, grown tech start-ups, and come from successful giants (like Google, Microsoft, and LinkedIn). We’ve learned from the top universities in the country (Stanford, Harvard, and Berkeley just to name a few), and we’ve got a global perspective with a local feel.

David is frequently seen eating snacks with his signature chopsticks. He needs to eat to keep up his strength: metaphorically speaking, he’s always got his hands on the fire extinguisher when our servers start smoking. Internships with tiny startup VidCaster and international giant Amazon.com built the foundation for the software development he does for Refresh, making his B.A. in psychology from UC Berkeley even more unusual. When he finds the time, David can be found reading a book, playing a PC game, or practicing his shoulder throw.

During his freshman year at Stanford University, Brian fell in love with Karel and never looked back. As one of our rockstar developer interns, Brian helps keep our data fresh and your connections with others fresher. This is Brian's first experience working in the valley, a far cry from the organic farm where he spent the past three summers working, but he admits that engineers and chickens don't smell all that different. Nonetheless, the tender care he learned from the farm is reflected in his refined code. Brian is pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science and will be entering his Junior year this fall.
